Coaches are always considered different and weird right? My cheer coach has many different weird characteristics about him. First off, hes a very slow moving guy. Not usually in any hurry to get anywhere. I'm not saying hes a fat guy but hes got a big belly and he is a pretty stocky man. Back in the day of more than 20 years ago, I saw pictures of my coach and I used to think that he was way too skinny for any man to ever be. His face was filled with many freckles that also covered most of his body. Always has been that type of guy to go out and tan in the tanning beds. He was super tan with hair so long that it was curly. Having brown hair for so long, he wanted a change and dyed his hair a bleach blonde. When he got even just a little embarrassed, his cheeks were a red so red that they glowed. Always wearing shorts, everyone could notice his short and very hairy legs. If you saw him without his glasses, you would have no idea who he was. Now coach Jesse was at times very immature for the 24 year old he was. He himself had always been a cheerleader so he was a very athletic and positive kind of guy as well. You could always count on him to be cheerful at any time of the day but quite serious if needed. Jesse was a reserved but happy type of guy. Never let anyone get in his way. Some practices get a little out of hand at times and we get to see his angry side, and let me tell you, he has a very extreme angry side to him.

Many people think of coaches as different and weird people. My coach is a very weird one. He is a very turtle moving kind of guy. Not ever in any hurry to get anywhere. I'm not saying hes a fat guy but hes got a gigantic stomach and hes a pretty chunky man. Back in the day, I saw pictures of my coach and he used to be a little twig for size. Freckles covered his body from head to toe. Never could be seen looking any darker skinned than Obama. He dyed his hair color to a barbie blonde because brown never cut it. Coaches cheeks always looked like Rudolf the red nose reindeer because they never stopped beaming red. His legs looked like a midget because he was so short and never would mistake him as a girl because of all the excessive hair on them. He loved having that nerd look when he wore his glasses to each practice. Made him feel like a smart man. Jesse never acted his age for being 24. He always played every sport and activity that he could and never had a negative bone in his body. Always a cheery person no matter what. Being a cheer coach, it was necessary to have his dead serious side and he was never afraid to use that. A lot of people liked the reserved and peaceful side of him and others liked the angry and crazy side of him. I personally like the crazy side becaue thats what makes him who he is, Coach Jesse!

Physical and Personality traits of Coach Jesse

Coaches are always considered different and weird right? My cheer coach has many different weird characteristics about him.  First off, hes a very slow moving guy.  Not usually in any hurry to get anywhere. I'm not saying hes a fat guy but hes got a big belly and he is a pretty stocky man.  Back in the day of more than 20 years ago, I saw pictures of my coach and I used to think that he was way too skinny for any man to ever be. Bouncy Ball

I was given the prompt of a pink and white bouncy ball. It is a very weird prop to be given to write about. I don't really know what to say for sure, but I would love to just sit her and bounce it all day. When I set it down on my desk, it was about to roll off. And even while I am typing right now its moving the desk and rolling around. You could think of it as a child, if you don't watch it closely, it could run/roll off and away. Another thing is it could be a stress reliever. If you are stressed or even angry at something, you can bounce the little pink and white ball and take some stress and anger out. You can get one of these nifty little balls from a vending thing at the mall or a restaurant somewhere. Price of one is probably just about a quarter. So not much to spend on one! It can represent a lot of things as well. Such as.. the sun, the moon, or even a star in the sky. There are monuments that look like it as well. If you look at a bowling ball, its basically the same thing except 10 pounds heavier.. A little ball like this one wouldn't hurt so bad if it was dropped on your foot or toes. If a bowling ball was, it would hurt really really bad. It could even be an exercise ball. One that you do sit ups on and roll around on. And / or even a little weight to pick up and excersise with. You know those little crunches that you twist your body with and hold a weight? you can use a little ball weight like that. It will roll basically anywhere you want it to roll. That just depends on how hard you throw it and where you want it to do. It will only go a certain distance because it will eventually stop when it looses its roll. Unless, it is going downhill then it will just keep going until it runs into something or the road flattens or smooths out. I have actually had someone throw a little ball like this at my one time and it hit me in the eye. And let me tell ya.. that wasn't the greatest feeling I have ever felt that's for sure. It can be used as a weapon if you want it to, but I wouldn't advise anyone to do that. It could represent a sport as well. Sports such as soccer, baseball, basketball, volleyball, tennis, and many more! The only difference is that they vary in size and weight.

Personal Credo

I believe that everyone has something that they love to do. Anything from sports to their career. Having something that you love to do will help you go further in those things and even the things you don't like to do. I also believe that we all have friends that we tell everything to and hang out with on the weekends. Those friends that you make in high school, may even carry over to college friends. I believe that your parents have a big impact on who you are and how you act.  Personally, I follow my moms footsteps everywhere and look up to her. Being a strong and held together woman, she is a good person to look up to. My church is another thing that I believe I stay loyal to. Going to church every Sunday and sometimes every Wednesday if I can. I go to strengthen my relationship with Christ but to also make an impact on others lives around me. I want to have children some day and raise them the exact same way my mom and dad raised me.  To love one another, go to church every Sunday, and never believe everything that you hear. Some of my past choices aren't my favorite choices. My present choices are who make me who I am today and tomorrow, such as going to work, school, and cheer practices.  My future choices are ones that I will make in order to have a family, graduate from college and get my degree in something that I love to do.

A grown up Barbie by Jane Hamill

I read the story called, "A grown up Barbie." As i was reading through it, I was wondering what she was trying to get at for a plot. As I reached the end, I understood exactly where she was coming from. I totally agree with that Jane wrote about being whoever she wanted to be and who she looked up to was who she made it to be. I related to the parts where she talked about as a kid she wanted to be just like barbie and do everything Barbie did. As she grew up and became a fashion designer, she found out that if you look up to someone who you know you want to be than you can take things better from them. I disagreed with her when she said shes a anti- fashion designer fashion designer, because that technically makes no sense. Yes, disagreement is "okay" because not everyone is going to ever agree with you. There will always be people who believe different things and never agree with you. I believe that is okay.

Cheerleading

After being a cheerleader myself for over 12 years, I have decided that it would be in my interest to be a cheerleading coach for a team. I am in a job called UCA and we travel all over the region of the Midwest to teach cheer camps to elementary, middle school, and high schoolers. I have only been with this job for 2 years now but I love it! Coaching and telling people in cheerleading what they did wrong is what I love to do. I want to make people and athletes better by coaching and helping them with whatever they need help with. It would be even cooler if I could create my own cheer gym with a few friends and have multiple teams to take to competitions and travel with. I have always thought that having my own team would be awesome. And if they got to be good enough, I could take them to The Cheerleading Worlds when they were ready. That is obviously every cheerleader and cheer coaches dream. I think that coaching a team would benefit me and the children themselves. I am experienced enough to be able to teach little ones and big ones and possibly run a business with a few other people.  It would be very time consuming and I would have to be very loyal to the job and children in cheer but it would be very worth it. Another thing is getting the kids signed up and ready to cheer at my gym.
